What is a presale?
A presale means you are ordering an item before it is produced and shipped. Presale orders help us create each collection in the right quantities while keeping our drops limited and intentional. Your order is secured when you check out, and your item will ship during the estimated shipping window listed on the product page.
When will my presale order ship?
Our presale opens August 1, 2026, and closes August 14, 2026. Please allow up to 30 days after the presale closes for production. Orders are expected to begin shipping in mid-September and are estimated to be delivered by September 30, 2026.
Can I cancel or change my presale order?
Presale orders are submitted to production shortly after the presale period ends. For that reason, orders cannot be canceled, changed, or adjusted once they are placed. Please review your size, shipping address, and order details carefully before checkout.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer inclusive sizing and provide a detailed size chart on each product page. Please use the measurements provided to select your best fit. If you are between sizes, consider the intended fit of the item and size up for a more relaxed look.
Are your pieces true to size?
Fit may vary slightly by style. We include product-specific fit notes and measurements whenever possible so you can shop confidently. For oversized styles, we will clearly note that in the product description.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final, including presale items. Because our collections are limited and often produced specifically for each drop, we are unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for sizing issues. Please review the size chart before placing your order.
What should I do if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
We want you to love your order. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 5 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will review your request and make it right when applicable.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Delivery times begin after your order has completed production and has shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, 1979.South ships within the United States and Canada only.
How do I care for my apparel?
To preserve the quality of your item, turn it inside out before washing. Machine wash cold with like colors and use a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry low or hang dry when possible. Do not iron directly over printed or embroidered details.
Will you restock sold-out items?
Our collections are designed to be limited. Some styles may return, but restocks are never guaranteed. The best way to stay informed is to join our email list and follow us on social media for drop announcements, presale dates, and restock updates.
